A community that welcomes everyone without question or judgment, and seeks to provide a comforting and supportive spiritual home and the freedom to grow.
Coffee Hour, a time to connect socially with all of St. James, is a weekly gathering following the 10:15 a.m. service. Members of the community provide coffee, juice, and refreshments, and we gather in the Parish Hall to talk, laugh, and share stories. It is one of the easiest ways to get to know the people of St. James.
We work to offer guidance and opportunities for growth for our young people, to support newly married couples and young families, and to make sure everyone has the opportunity and encouragement to participate fully in the life of the parish.
There are roles for everyone in the St. James community, especially on Sundays.

Lay readers read the Scripture lessons during worship and, at the direction of the rector, may also lead Morning Prayer.
A Eucharistic minister (chalice bearer) administers the chalice during Communion. This is a licensed ministry.
